3D terrestrial laser scanning

3D terrestrial laser scanning is the process of detailed survey, in fact recording facilities and courts use a special precision equipment - 3D terrestrial laser scanner, which rapidly sends the laser beam toward the object, and the extent of their reflection from the object. Scanning is given a certain number of precise spatial points that make so-called ˝cloud point˝. Digital processing of the ˝cloud˝ can make different products, such as simple or complex animations, vector 3D models of buildings, digital orthophoto images facade, facade 2D plans, floor plans, sections, etc. The combination of multiple shooting in the corresponding intervals can be determined by the amount of excavation and embankment, subsidence and ground facilities, the deviation from the project, and so forth. United utilization data scanning has led to wide use in architecture, surveying, mining, construction, engineering, archeology, forensic pathology, the film industry and elsewhere.

Institute for photogrammetry has modern device RIEGL LMS-Z390i with the entire accompanying equipment, digital cameras and software. Specialists of the Institute passed the appropriate training in the country and abroad, so we are fully trained to perform tasks of laser scanning and processing scanned data.
